WIV held the East Lake Forum

Sponsored by Wuhan Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences and undertook by WIV of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the first East Lake Academic Forum and 2012 Wuhan Virology Graduate Forum was held in Wuhan Institution of Virology on October 18, 2012. Virology students from 24 universities around China gathered together to share their scientific research achievements.
This forum aimed at providing a platform for young researchers who are engaged in virology research to display their research work to strengthen academic exchanges and discussion on virology and promote to establish high-level cooperation. About 50 graduates from 24 prestigious universities and scientific research institutions made excellent presentation of their own research work by using display boards or PPT. Every reporter was able to conduct face-to-face communication and frequent interaction with the participating representatives and the audience.
