WIV of Chinese Academy of Sciences Signed Framework Agreement of All-around Cooperation with People’s Government of Jiangxia District, Wuhan City
On October 26, the signing ceremony of the Framework Agreement of All-round Cooperation between People’s Government of Jiangxia District, Wuhan City and Wuhan Institution of Virology of Chinese Academy of Sciences was held in WIV. Deputy district chiefs of People’s Government of Jiangxia District, Wuhan City Mr. Lu Sheng and Mr. Xiao Shaohua, Secretary of Party Committee and Vice President of Wuhan Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences Ms. Chen Pingping, President of WIV of Chinese Academy of Sciences Mr. Chen Xinwen, Deputy Secretary of WIV Party Committee Mr. Yu Pingfan and etc. attended the signing ceremony. Mr. Chen Xinwen and Mr. Lu Sheng signed on the cooperation agreement.
The signing of this agreement will facilitate a closer cooperation between WIV of Chinese Academy of Sciences and People’s Government of Jiangxia District, Wuhan City and jointly promote the development of business of both sides. According to the agreement, People’s Government of Jiangxia District will coordinate and cooperate with relevant departments of People’s Government of Wuhan City to deliver great support in respect of land planning adjustment, housing construction for scientific research personnel, installment of natural gas pipeline, power supply capacity expansion, environment management and planning approval of the park, etc. during the process of the integral relocation of WIV.
Wuhan Institution of Virology will further display its technologic advantages and, according to the development planning of Jiangxia District and together with Wuhan Institution of Biological Products Co., Ltd., build Zhengdian Biomedical Industrial Park into an accelerator and important industrialization base of national biotechnology and biomedical industry and help to promote the rapid development of medicine business of Wuhan City and Hubei Province.
